Delivery Information

Standard Delivery:

FDFD Offer a standard 2-3 day delivery service, the cut off for orders to be placed and dispatched the same day is 11:30am any orders placed after this time, over a weekend or bank holiday will be dispatched the next working day. If you have any questions regarding delivery or wish to place your order over the phone, please contact a member of our team.

Named or Next Day Delivery:

FDFD also offer a Named or Next Day delivery service on most products, the cut off for orders to be dispatched on the same day is 10:30am. Any orders placed after this time, over a weekend or bank holiday will be dispatched the next working day if a specific date hasn’t been provided. If you do wish to select a specific delivery date in the future, please indicate this when selecting your delivery option during the checkout process. Collection:

We do allow collection on some of our flooring however due to stock circulation please contact our team to discuss this further and we will advise if collection is an option on your chosen product.

Delivery Times:

We use The Pallet Network to deliver your goods. Their standard delivery times are 8am until 6pm Monday to Friday. Unfortunately, we can’t offer an estimated delivery time as the drivers can’t always be reached to provide this, therefore on the day of the delivery, someone will need to be at the property to accept and sign for the goods.

If on the day of delivery something were to happen to prevent your delivery from arriving, we will inform you as soon as we are notified. As we are relying on third party transport, traffic or vehicle issues can occasionally arise from time-to-time, which is unfortunately beyond our control.

If you are unable to accept a delivery during the working week or require a narrower time frame, we can offer Saturday morning or afternoon delivery options for an additional cost. Please contact a member of our team to discuss this further and we will advise if these options are available for your chosen product.

Any missed deliveries due to nobody being present at the property will unfortunately incur a re-delivery charge.

Delivery Costs:

Our Standard and Named or Next Day Delivery charges cover all main areas of England, Scotland and Wales. Areas such as Islands and remote postcodes may incur additional charges, our team will contact you to discuss this and advise of any additional costs prior to processing your order. Delivery Review and Key Information

Due to insurance guidelines, all pallet deliveries are curb-side, which means they will be placed at the nearest access point to the property. Deliveries are made by large vehicles so please advise of any access issues such as vehicle size/weight restrictions or parking issues. When ordering over the phone, our team will advise of the above and note any access restrictions, likewise when an order is placed online you will receive a confirmation order in which you can reply with any relevant delivery information. Any failed delivery due to incorrect delivery information will incur a re-delivery charge.

When your delivery arrives please ensure you check the goods immediately upon arrival to ensure the order is complete and there is no damage that may have been caused during transit. It is very unlikely, however from time to time damage can happen during transit. If you unfortunately receive damaged goods or if any goods are missing, then please make a note on the courier’s paperwork and advise us of the issue immediately. We also ask if possible, to take photos of the pallet while the driver is present.

Due to working with third party networks, any claim for damaged goods must have a signed delivery note to support this, claims cannot be made if it has not been signed for as damaged.

If undamaged and the goods are refused at time of delivery due to a change of mind, you will be charged for their return to the warehouse.

Due to the above points and acclimatisation requirements on solid and engineered wood flooring, we advise not to have fitters on-site waiting, FDFD cannot be held liable for any consequential loss.
